The course is delivered via
Please note: Where a course has scheduled practical requirements (ie. Workshops/Exams) there is a 100% attendance requirement for ALL students.
You can complete the theory components of the course in the environment of your choosing self-paced (distance/online), although we do require all students to attend workshops and exams.
All participants receive course manuals via electronic copies (student notebook and workbooks), any additional lecture notes, and access to online assessment and learning materials.
For those students who have not gained Certificate III in Fitness and wish to only complete the pre-requisite units, the materials will be issued beforehand to complete via correspondence learning. These workbooks must be submitted for assessment prior to completing Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40210) qualification.
Before receiving your qualification, students must also submit a copy of a current Level 2 First Aid certificate which Global Fitness Institute also deliver (please check with Institute regarding locations and dates) or completed externally.
We allow a maximum of six months for you to complete the course but many students complete the course in a much shorter period.
The fitness industry is physical in nature, and whilst we do not expect all enrollees to be elite athletes, students must be prepared to physically participate and demonstrate competence in industry specific skills.
Course length may also be considerably shortened by successful application for Recognition of Prior Leaning (RPL), for those who have completed prior studies in related fields and/or have relevant industry experience. Please note: you can only apply for RPL for complete modules (not parts thereof), and you will be required to provide appropriate evidence. Students who have completed parts of the qualification with another provider can apply for direct credit transfer.
Upon completion of this qualification, you will be issued with
10% discount if the student enrolls in another course with Global Fitness Institute within 12 months
